Why use human agents instead of automated review software?
Software automation (email/SMS) has a 2% conversion rate because it’s easy to ignore. A human conversation has a much higher conversion rate because it leverages social reciprocity. When a real person calls to check on their recent treatment, the patient feels cared for. It is much harder to say "no" to a friendly human asking for a favor than it is to delete an automated email. We use automation to deliver the link, but humans to secure the commitment.
